This study analyzes selected speeches of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, through the lens of contemporary linguistics. The significance of this analysis stems from the UAE’s pivotal role in the region and its exceptional leadership in social, economic, political, and cultural spheres.

In this study, we explore the linguistic features of these speeches, including their stylistic, argumentative, and communicative aspects. We also examine their intellectual content, semantic components, and underlying cultural meanings. Furthermore, we investigate the speaker’s intellectual depth and linguistic proficiency, highlighting how he skillfully utilizes the rich lexical, grammatical, and rhetorical resources of the Arabic language to communicate with his audience. His speeches exhibit a well-structured and thoughtful discourse, conveying profound ideas, forward-looking visions, and strategic aspirations.
