The Diploma in Tolerance and Coexistence is the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates and the region. It holds significant importance in alignment with the UAE’s vision “We the UAE 2031,” which is based on four main pillars covering vital sectors including society, economy, and international relations. Specifically, the third pillar, “Forward Diplomacy,” reflects the UAE’s role in the global community to promote peace and mutual cooperation regionally and globally, and to contribute to spreading prosperity and goodwill among all peoples based on respect for human values. The program addresses the need to educate and nurture a generation that believes in the values of tolerance and coexistence, considering them as a source of future human capital to continue the path of development initiated by the founding fathers. It also meets the needs of institutions in the UAE for specialists in the values and principles of tolerance and coexistence to enhance societal peace and human fraternity, and to lead global dialogues on diversity, tolerance, peace, and stability as a first line of defense for security, safety, and future development.
