Program Overview:

The Bachelor’s Program in Islamic Studies provides a comprehensive and in-depth study of the fields of Islamic knowledge, including several mandatory and optional requirements. The program focuses on enabling students to understand the objectives of Islamic law and apply them correctly in practice, while enhancing their ability to derive legal rulings and analyse texts. It also seeks to develop their skills in confronting contemporary intellectual and cultural challenges, contribute to sustainable development, and prepare students to effectively promote religious tolerance and intellectual security in their society. The program also includes an internship and a graduation project that enables students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical contexts, enhancing their readiness to work in religious and social fields.

Program Learning Outcomes
  1. Explain the foundations and objectives of Islamic law and how they can be achieved.
  2. Apply legal maxims when deriving new rules for contemporary issues.
  3. Discuss contemporary intellectual and cultural challenges through analysing Islamic legal texts.
  4. Clarify the role of Islamic law in promoting and spreading the values of religious tolerance and enhancing intellectual security in society.
  5. Prepare academic research according to Islamic legal methodologies, evaluating sources critically and objectively
  6. Apply Islamic rulings in practical daily situations and participate in an internship to enhance practical skills
  7. Implement technology in Islamic legal research, show innovation in developing new educational methods to disseminate Islamic legal knowledge
